REVIEW YOUR QUOTE
Sign the quote with your node to confirm its public key and your refund address. Use your node’s message-signing feature: signmessage in Core Lightning (CLN) or lncli signmessage in LND. Preserve every character and line break below and return a compatible zbase32 signature. Signing this message does not transfer funds.
YOUR ORDER
Order reference:
Send XBT (Bitcoin Blake2b) only. Do not send SHA256 BTC.
Pay once, using the exact amount. Your wallet’s sending fee is additional. Save your order reference to return to this page.
Funds stay on your own Lightning node.
Connect using compatible XBT Core Lightning (CLN) or Paul Lamb’s LND implementation.
Review the total, then pay on-chain in XBT. We wait for 3 confirmations.
We open your channel. After 3 funding confirmations and both nodes are ready, you can receive routed payments.
BEFORE YOU ORDER
Paperclip supplies the channel funding. Your purchase pays for opening the channel and making inbound capacity available; it does not give you its funding balance. Channel reserves, routing conditions, and previous payments affect how much you can receive. Receiving capacity changes as you send and receive; it is not a lifetime payment allowance.
The minimum term is 12,960 blocks from channel readiness, approximately 90 days at the target block interval. Actual time varies. We target funding confirmation within 6 blocks after your payment is confirmed; block inclusion cannot be guaranteed. Useful channels may remain open after the term without an automatic renewal charge. You can close your channel; your own balance settles according to the channel’s closing rules. Safety-related or peer-initiated closes may occur earlier and require individual review.
Only on-chain XBT is accepted. The service fee plus quoted opening fee is fixed before payment. Quote acceptance expires after 15 minutes; an order allows 60 minutes to first detect payment. Payments need 3 confirmations. If an unfunded order cannot be fulfilled within 24 hours after its payment window, confirmed funds are returned to your signed refund address, less the refund transaction fee. Late and excess payments are reconciled for refund; very small payments or ambiguous transactions require manual review. Do not pay twice. Opening fees purchase a service and are not a refundable deposit after successful delivery.
Compatible XBT builds of Core Lightning (CLN), including privkeyio’s implementation, and Paul Lamb’s LND implementation are supported. Your node must support Blake2b feature bit 512, unified-signature capability 514/515, and unified channel type 514. These protocol requirements apply to both implementations; a CLN version number is not a requirement for LND. Each customer node may have up to two LSP-purchased channels, including pending orders. Channels you opened yourself do not count toward this limit. Closed LSP channels no longer occupy a slot. Lightning routing fees are separate and shown by the paying wallet. This is experimental software: only use funds you are willing to lose.
We store the node public key, signed quote, refund address, payment transactions, and channel information needed to fulfill and reconcile your order. We do not request your seed or private keys. Your unguessable order reference grants access to order details; keep it private. If you need help, contact Paperclip with your order reference privately.
